About This Fundraiser

The ITKAN Institute of Technology, founded by Dr. Mohamed Ebeida in Plano, Texas, promotes excellence in science and technology within U.S. Islamic centers. By introducing FIRST®️ robotics to children, ITKAN fosters innovation and inspires future STEM careers. With numerous FLL, FTC, and FRC teams worldwide, ITKAN is committed to global STEM education. MASDC has launched Virginia's first ITKAN chapter, ITKAN-MASDC, continuing ITKAN's legacy through its Robotics Program. Volunteer coaches and mentors from STEM professions build a network of teams sharing knowledge. With 35 teams in 19 Islamic centers across nine states, ITKAN makes every center a hub of religious and scientific learning for Muslim youth.
