Alhamdulillah, the Muslim community in Steele Creek continues to grow. What began as a small Jumu'ah congregation has already reached 60–70 attendees each week. This growth has shown us that the need is real, and now it is time to take the next step. Our vision is simple: rent a larger facility first, build a strong and active community, establish programs and services, and then work toward purchasing a permanent home in the future. We are currently searching for a location that can accommodate 125+ worshippers and serve as a center for: Daily prayers Jumu'ah prayers Islamic classes Sunday School Family nights Youth programs Community events and gatherings Rather than rushing into purchasing a property, we want to establish a thriving Islamic center that serves the needs of local Muslims today while laying the foundation for a permanent masjid tomorrow. Commercial spaces suitable for our needs typically rent for $5,000–$6,000 per month, in addition to startup costs such as basic furnishings, insurance and necessary improvements to make the space functional for the community. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise." (Bukhari and Muslim) By supporting this effort, you are helping establish a place where prayers will be offered, children will learn Islam, families will gather, and future generations will grow in faith. Please note: Our fundraising goal may change depending on the location we secure, monthly rental costs, permitting requirements, renovations, occupancy regulations, and other expenses associated with preparing the facility for community use.
